Oregon Artists are celebrated in new Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art exhibition

“Celebrating Oregon Artists: Recent Additions to the Collection” is on view June 18 – September 15, 2013, in the Artist Project Space at the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art. Featured in the exhibition are works acquired in the past five years by artists working in Ashland, Eugene, Newport, and Portland.

UO Alum, Rene James '86 MBA '92, Named New Intel President

UO graduate, Rene James '86 MBA '92, has just been named the new president of Intel. This is the highest position a woman has ever held in the company. She graduated from the University of Oregon with a bachelor's degree in 1986 and a master's degree in Business Administration in 1992. The Ducks Defeat K-State in the 2013 Fiesta Bowl 35-17

The Oregon Ducks football team celebrates their second straight BCS Bowl Game victory after defeating Kansas State in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl, 35-17. Jenny Sink ’09 is in her second year as principle at Fairfield Elementary School in Eugene, OR. This is where The Duck Academy After School Program is held on the second Wednesday of each month from 3-4:30 pm.
